Woodland Path. 05
date.
2025
where.
North Yorkshire
The bottom of this large garden was overgrown with weeds and Symphoricarpos albus, otherwise known as Snowberry. After some extensive clearance work a woodland path was constructed allowing the client to access the area which was previously completely inaccessible. Wood chippings from a tree felled on site were re-used in the construction. Thereafter more than 600 shade loving plants were planted either side of the path. Those suitable for dry shade were planted beneath the birch and large pine trees. Many of the plants were chosen to create an evergreen groundcover, as per the client's request, creating a tranquil space in many hues of green.
